Arc Raiders has dropped a huge new update in December, which includes a unique Flickering Flames event, that has you seeking out materials, items, and resources to work towards a project for the event, with unique rewards and resources to earn.

Here is how the event works.
‘Arc Raiders’ Flickering Flames Event – How It Works
The Flickering Flames event consists of two separate sets of rewards and goals to chase. The first is the Gathering Candleberries event. This is a set of rewards tied to how many merits you earn, with merits given based on performance in runs Topside and how many Candleberries you find scattered around the map.
Generally, this works similarly to the Breaking New Ground event and you should earn them all by just playing the game over the period.
The second is a unique Expedition project which must be completed during the event period. Donating Candleberries you earn from gaining Merits or exploring the map, alongside other junk items and tinkets to sell, as well as some resources will allow you to complete the Expedition project and gain some unique rewards, including free currency.
The event runs until January 13, 2025 and Candleberries can be found on Cold Snap event maps. So, you have some time to jump in and play through the event and gain everything before it ends.
